David and his significant other Loretta live in Thunder Bay. David is the proud father of two wonderful daughters, Jennifer and Kimberly and also enjoys spending time with Loretta’s children Amanda, Corinna, Henry and their families. His philosophy is to “enjoy the day, have fun and be happy!”

For 35 years he has worked for Canadian Pacific as a Rail Car Mechanic. It was during their Workplace Campaign that David first became involved with United Way. It is David’s desire to give back to the community that has given him so much, that has led him to be a Sponsored Employee at United Way and he is very happy to return for a second year.
 
In addition to supporting the United Way David is involved with the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario as well as very involved with his Union in his workplace and community as President CAW Lodge 361-Local 101. He also enjoys spending time on his hobbies skiing, golfing and automobiles.
