Maureen Pappas

Maureen has resided in Thunder Bay most of her life. She has been married to husband John for 25 years and they have three teenage children: two daughters, Jamie and Keltie, and one son, Michael. Maureen believes in living life to the fullest and feels fortunate to have a wonderful family. During the summer she likes to garden and spend time at the family's cottage at Hawkeye Lake.

For the past 28 years, Maureen has been an employee with the Canadian Grain Commission. Recently, she began a 20 - week work period with the United Way of Thunder Bay, as a Sponsored Employee

Maureen is always up for a new challenge, and looks forward to the opportunity to become more involved and to learn more about her community. Being a Sponsored Employee for the United Way seems to her, like the perfect opportunity.
