Shelley Trewin is a lawyer with Weiler, Maloney, Nelson in Thunder Bay.  A partner since 2005 and managing partner since August 2009, Shelley practices management side labour and employment law.

Since her firm had been a supporter of the United Way for a number of years, Shelley was familiar with the organization and the agencies it supports before becoming involved in the Campaign herself.   Shelley previously served as Co-Chair for the Professional Business Division, and having lived in Thunder Bay for most of her life, Shelley feels, “the United Way is a cornerstone in our community on which so many individuals, programs and organizations depend and rely for support.  I’m both honoured and thrilled to again be part of such a dynamic team that promotes the values and opportunities that the United Way can offer.”

Active in her spare time, Shelley never shies away from an adventure, and takes advantage of the many outdoor activities and events our community and surrounding areas have to offer.

Shelley’s philosophy is that “Even small efforts can make a big difference.”
