United Way of Thunder Bay 2005 Campaign Team

CAMPAIGN CO-VICE CHAIR
& INDUSTRY DIVISION

Jules Tupker
Retired - C.U.P.E.
Board of Directors

Originally from Toronto, Jules has lived in Thunder Bay for the past forty-two years. He retired as a National Union Representative with C.U.P.E. (Canadian Union of Public Employees) in 2004.

In the early 1990’s, Jules was a member of the United Way Board of Directors, but resigned due to a heavy workload. Following his retirement Jules was able to return to the United Way as a member of the Board and as a member of the Campaign Team.

He is very aware of the importance of employee donations, and his objective is to work to see this component of the campaign increase: “The United Way plays an important role in providing funds to organizations and programs that are accessed by the average citizens of Thunder Bay. I want to ensure the continuation of these programs.”

In his spare time Jules enjoys sports and gardening. He and his wife Krystyna have two daughters, Kendall who works as a Program Coordinator for the Alberta government and lives with her husband Chrenan and their son Finn in Edmonton and Courtney who is the Early Literacy Facilitator for the North shore in the District of Thunder Bay.
