Wayne has lived in Thunder Bay for 26 years and is originally from Proctor, Vermont. He is the Principal at Superior CVI and is a long-time supporter of the United Way. He became a member of the United Way Education Committee in 2002 and has chaired the committee for the past seven years.

A firm believer in the importance of community involvement, Wayne is a board member of Thunder Bay Ventures, and a member of the Thunder Bay Healthcare Coalition. He has also donated to a number of national and local charities and canvassed for Heart and Stroke.

Wayne is married to wife Emilia and is father to Carmen and Carl.
