18th Annual Great Billboard Rescue (May 20, 2010)

Join us for the exciting 2010 Great Billboard Rescue, presented by Investor's Group & Lowerys Basic/SRC. As our major fundrasing event this event has raised over $1,000,000 for the United Way of Thunder Bay over the past eighteen years! 

We are issuing a challenge for you to board the scissor-lift on Thursday, May 20th and spend twenty minutes calling all of your friends and associates for pledges. We are looking for teams of four, but can accommodate smaller or larger teams and individuals.

91.5 CKPR Radio will be providing live on-site coverage. Cellular phones provided by Teleco Supply/Roger’s Wireless will be available both on the billboard and on the ground.

Throughout the month of April, teams are busy calling and gathering pledges to help raise money for the United Way. On the final day, teams gather at the Investors Group building to go up on a 50 foot scissor lift where they make their last few calls for support.
