I am a true believer in what United Way and GenNext bring to the table for their funded agencies. When I first heard of United Way I was eager to donate but didn't really understand what they did or who they supported. I attended several United Way events to get a better understanding of what they do for our community. I came to believe that this is a great cause, never thinking that a young man like my self would ever need these services, but thought I could help out people in the community by getting involved.

Recently I had a tragic event in my life and if it wasn't for the support of the Crisis Response team, which is a program funded by United Way, to help me and my family in our time of need I am not sure where we would have been.

I fully support the United Way and their involvement in our community. The help they provide through the funded agencies and programs is essential & I am proud to be a part of this organization.
