I became involved with the United Way though a placement at Confederation College. At this time I had no idea what a wonderful organization I was being drawn into! I started working on the GenNext Committee, working towards the first Dodgeball Tournament, and have continued to volunteer with GenNext after my placement was finished.

The United Way is a great place to meet lifelong friends, become active in your community and really make a difference. I had a chance to see the direct impact the United Way has on Thunder Bay residents, and look forward to many years of being a United Way supporter.
